Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will open May 27th 2022 at EPCOT.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, is a new EPCOT attraction opening on May 27th at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Guests will join the Guardians on an intergalactic chase through space and time. The attraction will feature a new storycoaster that rotates to focus guests on the action. It will include the first reverse launch on a Disney coaster.
The adventure will start in the “Galaxarium,” a planetarium-like exhibition. It explores the similarities and mysteries of the formation of Earth’s galaxy and Xandar. You’ll be invited to learn more about Xandar’s treasures – until the moment when the Guardians of the Galaxy arrive, and adventures across the cosmos ensue. The Omnicoaster is a first- of-its-kind programmable roller coaster ride system. Guests will be rotated along the ride track in any direction while traveling at high speeds. The Omnicoaster name builds upon the tradition of the Omnimover ride system.
