A reunion of familiar faces.

The movie showcases a cast of well-known stars, including Kenan Thompson as Dexter Reed, the unfortunate inventor, and Kel Mitchell as the lovable and gullible Ed from Good Burger. Lil Rel Howery plays Cecil McNevin, Jillian Bell stars as Katt Boswell, Kamaia Fairburn portrays Mia, Alex R. Hibbert acts as Ed2, Fabrizio Guido plays Mr. Jensen, Elizabeth and Emily Hinkler play Cindy and Mindy, while Anabel Graetz portrays Ruth. The reunion of the original cast would not be complete without the return of Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg, and Carmen Electra, reprising their roles as Fizz, Connie Muldoon, and Roxanne.

Behind the Scenes: A Collaborative Effort

Good Burger 2 is in good hands with director Phil Traill, well-known for his work on popular TV shows like The Middle, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Single Drunk Female. The screenplay is a collaborative effort by Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, the masterminds behind All That and the first Good Burger film, and James III, known for his work on Tyler Perry‘s Young Dylan and All That. With the perfect blend of nostalgia and fresh content, the film promises to remain true to its roots. Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell are also on board as producers.

In Good Burger 2, Dexter Reed finds himself in a familiar predicament after yet another of his inventions goes awry. Ed, ever the loyal friend, welcomes Dex back to Good Burger with open arms and reinstates him in his old job. However, with a new crew at Good Burger, Dex’s attempt to get back on his feet jeopardizes the fate of the beloved fast-food joint. The film promises to be a rollercoaster of laughter, mishaps, and plenty of burgers.

From an All That sketch to the big screens.

Good Burger originated as a sketch on the comedy series All That in 1994, capturing the audience’s attention with its quirky characters and humorous plotlines. The sketch’s success paved the way for the feature film, released globally on July 25, 1997, by Paramount Pictures. The legacy continued with Kel Mitchell reprising his role in the All That revival series in 2019, solidifying Ed’s position as the manager of the trainees at Good Burger.

Good Burger 2 promises a delightful journey down memory lane for die-hard fans of the original film. The movie will feature throwback Easter eggs, including an improved Burgermobile and the iconic song “I’m a Dude.” As a nod to the past, the sequel aims to capture the essence of what made the original a classic while introducing new elements to keep audiences entertained.

Good Burger 2 is not just a sequel; it’s a reunion of characters synonymous with ’90s nostalgia. With a talented and fun cast, a dedicated production team, and a nod to the past, this film is set to leave old and new audiences craving for more.
