Gilbert Gottfried, Iconic Comedian Passes Away

Gilbert Gottfried passes away at age 67.

Comedy Legend Gilbert Gottfried has passed away. He was battling an illness for a long time. Gottfried was 67. Gottfried was the voice behind many iconic characters, such as Lago in “Aladdin,” Digit in PBS Kids’ “Cyberchase” and the Aflac duck. His family released the following:

“We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Gilbert Gottfried after a long illness. In addition to being the most iconic voice in comedy, Gilbert was a wonderful husband, brother, friend and father to his two young children. Although today is a sad day for all of us, please keep laughing as loud as possible in Gilbert’s honor.”
