A third Ghostbusters cartoon is coming to Netflix.
A newly announced Ghostbusters animated series is coming to Netflix. Ghostbusters Day kicked off with this exciting news. It will be the third animated series for the franchise. The new series is in partnership with Ghost Corp and executive produced by Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan. The first animated series was titled The Real Ghostbusters and premiered in 1986 with a total of 140 episodes. The follow-up series was titled Extreme Ghostbuster and premiered in 1997 with just 40 episodes. Afterlife premiered in November 2021, and recently SONY announced that a sequel is in development.
