Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt cast in Ghostbusters: Afterlife

Deadline has reported that the upcoming sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife has added more talent to its cast. The latest actors to put on proton packs are Kumail Nanjiani And Patton Oswalt. James Acaster and Emily Alyn Lind will also be part of the sequel. Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Dan Akroyd, and Ernie Hudson also reprise their roles. As previously reported, Production is already underway in London with Gil Kenan in the director’s chair. Jason Reitman will be producing. The movie will hit theaters on December 20th, 2023.

Synopsis

After the events in Oklahoma, the Ghostbusters team returns to where it all started; New York City! The Spengler family story continues with a new group led by Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) and Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd).
