After a decade-long absence, Futurama has returns. It is bringing back its full original cast and satirical essence. The series features the talented voices of John DiMaggio, Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr, and David Herman. Season eleven consists of ten all-new episodes that cater to both new viewers and longtime fans. The latest season unravels mysteries that have spanned decades, delving into the epic love story of Fry and Leela, revealing the enigmatic contents of Nibbler’s litter box, unveiling the secret history of evil Robot Santa, and answering questions about Kif and Amy’s tadpoles’ whereabouts. Additionally, the show tackles contemporary themes such as the future of vaccines, bitcoin, cancel culture, and streaming TV, introducing a whole new pandemic for the crew to explore. Premiering in 1999, Futurama quickly garnered a dedicated following and critical acclaim. It even earned two primetime Emmys for Outstanding Animated Program. Despite its futuristic setting, the series is renowned for its satirical commentary on present-day life. The story revolves around Philip J. Fry. He is a pizza delivery boy from New York City who accidentally freezes himself in 1999. When he wakes up, he realizes he is in the year 3000. In this astonishing New New York, Fry befriends the hard-drinking robot Bender and falls in love with the cyclops Leela. They join forces with other colorful characters, including the doddering Professor Hubert Farnsworth, accountant Hermes Conrad, assistant Amy Wong, and alien lobster Dr. John Zoidberg, as they embark on thrilling adventures spanning the universe.
