Fantastic Beasts 3 Has Lowest Opening Of The Franchise

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore lacks the box office magic.

The third Fantastic Beasts film has opened up at the number one spot during the weekend. It currently has a global box office total of $193 Million. $43 Million was the domestic box office total. It is the lowest opening for a Wizarding World film. The first Fantastic Beats film opened domestically with $74.4 Million, and its sequel, The Crimes of Grindelwald, opened with $62 Million. This Film sees Johnny Depp replaced by Mads Mikkelsen with Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, and Dan Fogler returning.

Synopsis

Set in the 1930s, the story leads up to the Wizarding World’s involvement in World War II. It will explore the magical communities worldwide. With Grindelwald’s power rapidly growing, Albus Dumbledore entrusts Newt Scamander and his friends on a mission that will lead to a clash with Grindelwald’s army. He will lead Dumbledore to ponder how long he will stay on the sidelines in the impending war.
