Echo series coming to Disney+ in 2023.

The first look at the Marvel Studios series Echo is finally here. Echo made her live-action debut in Marvel Studio’s Hawkeye on Disney+. That series set in post-blip New York City follows former Avenger Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye. He has a seemingly simple mission to get back to his family for Christmas. But when a threat from his past shows up, Hawkeye reluctantly teams up with Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old skilled archer, and his biggest fan, to unravel a criminal conspiracy.

The character Echo made her debut in that series as she crossed paths with Hawkeye and Kate Bishop. She was working for Kingpin until she found out he was responsible for her father’s death. The Echo series is written and executive produced by Etan Cohen and Emily Cohen. It centers on Maya Lopez (Cox), a deaf Native American superhero who has the talent to imitate any opponent’s fighting style.
The series will be an origin story of Echo, aka Maya Lopez. Her ruthless behavior in New York City catches up with her in her hometown. She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward. In addition, the series stars Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, and Cody Lightning with Graham Greene, and Zahn McClarnon. Finally, production is underway and the series is coming to Disney+ in 2023.
