Walt Disney Pictures Haunted Mansion is based on Disney’s classic theme park attraction. It stars Rosario Dawson and Owen Wilson. They are joined by a star-studded ensemble cast featuring LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Danny DeVito, and Chase Dillon. Justin Simien directs the film. He is known for Bad Hair and Dear White People.
Synopsis
A doctor (Dawson) and her 9-year-old son (Dillon) move into a strangely affordable mansion in New Orleans, looking to start a new life. Unfortunately, they soon discover that the place is much more than they bargained for. They are desperate for help and contact a priest (Wilson). He, in turn, enlists the aid of a widowed scientist-turned failed-paranormal expert (Stanfield), a French Quarter psychic (Haddish), and a crotchety historian (DeVito).
