Despicable Me 4 has been announced for 2024.
The lovable Minions franchise that started with Despicable Me is getting a fourth film. Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have announced that Despicable Me 4 will be in theaters on July 3rd 2024. This is technically the 6th film of the franchise counting the 2 spin-offs titles Minions and the upcoming Mionions: The Rise of Gru, which will finally be in theaters on July 1st 2022. The Rise of Gru follows a 12-year-old Felonious Gru tries to become evil enough to join the supervillain group the Vicious 6. With the help of his Minions, he must stop the Vicious 6 after he stole a precious object. Watch the trailer below!
