Dave Chappelle attacked by man during festival performance.
During last night’s performance at the Hollywood Bowl, Dave Chappelle was tackled by someone in the audience. Chappelle was performing at the Netflix Is A joke Festival. As he was wrapping up his set suddenly, a man from the audience rushed to the stage. The man tackled and slammed Chappelle to the ground. A swarm of people went to aid Chappelle on stage. Jamie Foxx was one of them who went to help Chappelle as the situation unfolded. LAPD said that the man taken into custody was armed with a fake gun and a knife. However, Chapelle still went back on stage to finish his performance. Chris Rock even came out to ask if that was Will Smith. Ever since Smith hit Rock at the Oscars, Comedians have been concerned that a trend would begin.
