Daredevil And Kingpin To Appear In Echo Disney+ Series

Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio last appeared together as Daredevil and Kingpin in the 2018 Netflix series.

Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will return as Daredevil and Kingpin in the Echo series. This Disney+ series stars Maya Lopez, who made her MCU debut in 2021 in Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye. Lopez’s character was a deaf gang leader who was determined to make Ronin, aka Clint Barton, pay for his vengeful deeds. Vincent D’Onofrio made his return as Kingpin in the Hawkeye series. Echo was somewhat adopted by Kingpin after her father’s murder. She later finds out that Kingpin was responsible for her father’s death and goes after him in the finale, which is left on a cliffhanger after hearing a gunshot. Echo will be streaming exclusively on Disney+ in 2023.

The Daredevil series made its debut on Netflix back in 2015. It ran for three seasons before Marvel nixed their partnership with the streaming platform. The show followed attorney Matt Murdock. He became blind as a boy in a tragic accident which also gave him extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen, New York, where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night. The series also starred Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, and Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson
