William Shatner to appear at Comicpalooza.

Comicpalooza, Houston’s pop-culture convention, has announced that Captain Kirk, William Shatner, is coming to Space City. Shatner has been part of the big and small screen for 70-plus years but is best known as the starship U.S.S. Enterprise commander. The Star Trek series that pioneered the Sci-Fi genre spaned several films such as Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Outside of Star Trek movies, Shatner also starred in films like Airplane II: The Sequel, Loaded Weapon 1, and Miss Congeniality. In addition, His television series resume includes shows like Hawaii Five-O, T.J. Hooker, 3rd Rock From the Sun, The Practice, and Boston Legal. Last month Shatner released a documentary that premiered at SXSW called You Can Call Me Bill. It is an intimate portrait of his personal journey over nine decades.
