Bruce Willis is dealing with dementia after retirement.

The family of legendary leading man Bruce Willis announced in March 2022 that he was diagnosed with aphasia and would retire from acting. Now, the 67-year-old’s condition appears to have progressed to frontotemporal dementia, according to Variety. Willis is famous for his 40-year acting career, ranging from action blockbusters like Die Hard and its sequels to sci-fi classics like The Fifth Element and romantic comedies like Blind Date. He also starred in M. Night Shyamalan’s The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. In addition, he has won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for his role in Moonlighting and an additional Emmy for his guest appearance on Friends.
