The ensemble of Broken Lizard reunited over the weekend for Vulture Festival. They came together to honor the cult comedy hit Super Troopers. Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhansk were all in attendance. The Indie Film made its debut during Sundance in 2000 and was directed by Chandrasekhar, who recently helmed Easter Sunday starring Joy Koy. He also founded the latest app, Vouch Vault. The cult classic comedy spawned a sequel in 2018, and fans are hoping for a third. Next year, you can see the Broken Lizard crew in their film Quasi, a Hunchback Of Notre Dame satire.

Synopsis

Always looking for action, five over-enthusiastic but under-stimulated Vermont State Troopers raise hell on the highway, keeping motorists anxiously looking in their rear-view mirrors. Between an ongoing feud with the local cops over whose you-know-what is bigger and the state government wanting to shut them down, the “Super Troopers” find themselves precariously and hilariously heading toward calamity as they try to avoid extinction.
