Broken Lizard to make comeback with a Hulu Original Film.
The Broken Lizard crew is back for a new movie. Quasi is the next movie from the comedy group behind Super Troopers, Beerfest, Club Dredd, and more. The 2023 movie is coming to Hulu and is directed by Kevin Heffernan. The movie was written by all Broken Lizard members, including Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Jay Chandrasekhar, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske. They all recently reunited for a Super Troopers panel. Quasi is a hapless hunchback who yearns for love but finds himself in the middle of a murderous feud between the Pope and the king of France when each orders the hunchback to kill the other. The satirical take on Victor Hugo’s novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame will debut from Searchlight Pictures as a Hulu original film on April 20, 2023.
