Black Widow Will Be Available On Disney+ Premier Access

Black Widow and Cruella will be available on Disney+ Premier Access

It looks like Marvel fans will have to wait just a little longer for the theatrical component of Phase 4 of the MCU to commence. Black Widow has been delayed once more to July 9, 2021. And in a previously unanticipated move, the secret agent-turned Avenger’s first solo film will simultaneously release on Disney+ with Premier Access.

Disney’s Cruella, starring Academy Award-winner Emma Stone, will release similarly a few weeks before, on May 28, 2021.
After the release of Raya and The Last Dragon to overwhelming critical success, this distribution method may be the new normal for Disney and Marvel fans going forward.

Subscribers can stream the film on day one for a $29.99 fee.

Disney and Pixar’s Luca will see worldwide release exclusively on Disney+ beginning Friday, June 18, 2021. In international markets where Disney+ is not yet available, the film will be released theatrically, on a yet-to-be-announced date.

Today’s announcement reflects our focus on providing consumer choice and serving the evolving preferences of audiences. By leveraging a flexible distribution strategy in a dynamic marketplace that is beginning to recover from the global pandemic, we will continue to employ the best options to deliver The Walt Disney Company’s unparalleled storytelling to fans and families around the world.
