Bill & Ted Face The Music – Movie Review (Spoiler Free)

Bill & Ted Are Back In Face The Music

To prepare me for this movie I watched Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey. If you want to watch those two before watching Face The Music, you can do so on Prime Video for only $4 each.

Synopsis

Once told they’d save the universe during a time-traveling adventure, 2 would-be rockers from San Dimas, California find themselves as middle-aged dads still trying to crank out a hit song and fulfill their destiny.

Be Excellent To Each Other

This movie was such a great escape from the current world with plenty of laugh out loud moments and tons of nostalgia. Being only a swift hour and a half it was easy to sit back and enjoy. This sweet and cheery film jumps right into the story, as we see two separate adventures take off for a single mission. The anticipated return of Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves is worth the purchase price of $25. Also, don’t worry, George Carlin’s Rufus is not forgotten and his legacy lives on.

It was fantastic to see the original cast back together after all this time which included the bodacious Misty. As Bill & Ted travel throughout time it was a blast to see them play different and creative iterations of themselves. Death also is back to deliver his jokes and charm from the last movie. When it comes to new cast, grown-up Little Bill & Ted played brilliantly by Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine had plenty of chemistry, and could easily have their own movie.

Verdict

I give Bill & Ted Face The Music an 8/10 and hope this isn’t the end for this excellent duo as it made me want more. There is also a post credit scene, so don’t miss that.
