Eddie Murphy returns for a fourth Beverly Hills Cop movie.
Beverly Hills Cop 4, starring Eddie Murphy, is currently filming. The new film will be for Netflix. It will be titled Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley. In addition to Murphy returning as Foley, set photos have confirmed that Judge Reinhold and John Ashton are returning as Rosewood and Taggart. Reinhold starred in all three previous films. Ashton only starred in the first two and was name-dropped In the third. Paul Reiser has also been seen on the set confirming his return. The new cast will feature Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Taylour Paige. In 1984 the first film grossed more than $300 million worldwide. It was also nominated for an Academy Award for best original screenplay. The sequel debuted in 1987, and a third came out in 1994.
