The Batwoman series on The CW has been canceled after just three seasons. The news broke via a tweet from Showrunner Caroline Dries. Since Ruby Rose’s controversial departure from the titular role, the show has had a turbulent journey. Javicia Leslie picked up the Batwoman mantle from Rose’s exit.
In addition, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has also been canceled. After seven seasons and 110 episodes on The CW, fans will say goodbye to the light-hearted DC series. Co-showrunner Keto Shimizu shared the news on Twitter. The show featured Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, Nick Zano, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers. These two cancelations may be due to Warner Bros Discovery exploring the sale of The CW.
