Batman Day Celebrates The Dark Knight Globally

Batman Day takes place today, September 17th.

Today marks Batman Day, and three films are playing only at Cinemark to celebrate on the big screen. Mask of the Phantasm (1993) plays at 2:15 pm local time. Batman (1989) plays at 4:30 pm local time. Finally, Batman Returns (1992) 30th Anniversary plays at 7:25 pm local time. Fans can also tune into a marathon starting today on TNT.

Fans can pick up free comic books at participating comic book shops such as Bedrock City Comics. Two special titles are available. The first one is Hush #1 Special, from the seminal work by artist Jim Lee and writer Jeph Loeb. Mystery Casebook Special Edition for younger fans is a preview of the upcoming DC Middle-Grade title by writer Sholly Fisch and artist Christopher Uminga.

Kids and families can also celebrate with BatwheelsDC’s first-ever Batman preschool series, which will zoom into Batman Day with a half-hour origin special premiering exclusively first on Cartoonito on HBO Max.

Bathwheels Cars

MultiVersus, the free-to-play platform fighter videogame, will celebrate with an in-game event granting a Batman profile icon to players who complete 20 matches as the Caped Crusader. He will also be featured in the game’s three-day preview character rotation.
