BATMAN (1989) Grapnel Set Revealed By DC

Batman’s coolest gadget can be yours.

Warner Bros. is teaming up with DC and Paragon FX on Batman’s greatest gadget, the modular utility grapnel. It is a multi-purpose, hand-held unit that allows Batman to store numerous items on his utility belt yet deploy them all from a single device. Paragon’s team spent 12 months on this set’s design and development alone. Unfortunately, it is limited to an edition size of just 1000 units worldwide. This newest movie prop replica is based on Tim Burton’s Batman starring Michael Keaton. Order Here.

The goal was to engineer a full-size replica that literally looks and feels like a real piece of Batman’s tech. We wanted everything to be cold to the touch and have a real-world heft and feel. We wanted everything to behave like we envisioned the original.
