Bad Boys 4 video kicks off the Sony Pictures presentation at CinemaCon.

The Bad Boys movie franchise starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence is getting a fourth installment. During CinemCon, the Sony presentation featured a video message from Smith and Lawrence on the set of the new film. Smith said:
“What’s up CinemaCon? We’re glad we’re not there ’cause we’re here, and they’re paying us to be here! Bad Boys Four is coming. We’re hyped and excited. We’re in the fourth week of shooting. Everything is going to be spectabulous.”
The action-packed film series has captivated audiences since the release of its first installment in 1995. The series follows two Miami detectives, Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) and Mike Lowrey (Will Smith), as they fight crime and take down drug lords. Michael Bay directed Bad Boys, which quickly became a box office hit, grossing over $140 million worldwide. The film showcased the dynamic between Burnett and Lowrey, who were partners and close friends. Their banter and chemistry on screen made for an entertaining and thrilling experience for audiences.
The first movie’s success led to a sequel released in 2003.
In the second film, Bad Boys II saw Burnett and Lowrey once again team up to take down a drug lord who was flooding the streets of Miami with ecstasy. The movie was just as action-packed as its predecessor but with even more explosive set pieces and over-the-top action sequences. After a long hiatus, the Bad Boys franchise returned to the big screen with “Bad Boys for Life” in 2020, directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. The third installment brought back the beloved duo of Burnett and Lowrey, who were now facing their biggest challenge yet. With a new, younger team of detectives, Burnett and Lowrey had to team up again to take down a vengeful cartel leader.
Smith and Lawrence have demonstrated their on-screen chemistry throughout the franchise, delivering hilarious one-liners and heart-pumping action sequences. As a result, the Bad Boys franchise has become a staple of the action-comedy genre. There is no released date yet for the fourth installment.
