Babylon 5: The Road Home is an animated feature film.
On August 15, Babylon 5: The Road Home will be released by Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. It will allow fans to embark on an epic interstellar journey through time and space. The film will be available for purchase digitally and on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray. A never-before-seen clip titled “Standing In The Shadows” has been released today. It features John Sheridan (voiced by Bruce Boxleitner) expressing his hesitation to leave Babylon 5 to his wife, Delenn (voiced by Rebecca Reidy).
The movie’s story promises an exciting adventure as John Sheridan navigates multiple timelines and alternate realities, searching for his way back home. He’ll meet familiar faces and uncover cosmic revelations about the galaxy’s history, purpose, and meaning.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Babylon 5, the film features the original series’ iconic cast. Bruce Boxleitner, Claudia Christian, Peter Jurasik, Bill Mumy, Tracy Scoggins, and Patricia Tallman are reprising their roles. The voice cast includes Phil LaMarr, Piotr Michael, Andrew Morgado, and Rebecca Riedy. The film includes special features such as “Babylon 5 Forever,” which offers insights into creating the animated adaptation. Fans can also enjoy audio commentary with creator J. Michael Straczynski, Bruce Boxleitner, and supervising producer Rick Morales. With its captivating plot and beloved characters, The Road Home will surely be a memorable addition to the Babylon 5 universe.
