Aquaman 2 and Shazam! 2 release dates have been pushed back.
Warner Bros has announced that their upcoming sequel to Aquaman and Shazam!, are getting new release dates again. David F. Sandberg’s Shazam: Fury of the Gods will be moving from December 21st, 2022 release date to the old Aquaman 2‘s release date of March 17th, 2023. Shazam! Fury of the Gods will continue the story of teenage Billy Batson, who, upon reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!,” is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam. James Wan’s Aquaman sequel is now releasing on December 25th, 2023. It will have Aquaman forging an uneasy alliance with an unlikely ally in a bid to save Atlantis and the rest of the planet.
