Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and The Marvels still slated for 2023.
During CinemaCon, Disney announced that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will take The Marvels’ release date. The third movie in the Ant-Man franchise was originally slated for July 28, 2023. However, it now takes The Marvels release date of February 17, 2023. This move is due to Quantumania being further along in production. Peyton Reed returns as director along with stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Michael Douglas. Jonathan Majors will play the villain Kang, a variant version of the character we saw in Loki.
The Marvels is the follow to Captain Marvel and the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel premiering on June 8. Brie Larson returns as Captain Marvel, along with Samuel L. Jackson, Teyonah Parris (WandaVision), and Ms. Marvel herself, Iman Vellani.
