Star Wars’ Andor is a limited series coming to Disney+.
The “Andor” series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy. It focuses on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue. Cassian will have to embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero. Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor. The cast also features Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, and Kyle Soller.
During the Star Wars Celebration, Katheleen Kennedy talked about Rogue One’s climax, “I think what’s remarkable is the sacrifice that Cassian Andor makes for the galaxy.” Diego Luna said, “I know what he represents. This is a story about the people. It’s a story that has the most to do with us, about what we can do; it’s about our power. The beauty of this show, I know there’s no way they’ll kill me.” Lucasfilm’s new, original series takes place before “Rogue One” events. Andor will debut on Disney+ on August 31st with two episodes.
