American Born Chinese is a Everything Everywhere All At Once reunion.
Disney+ revealed the trailer for the upcoming Original series “American Born Chinese.” It is a genre-hopping action-comedy series based on the graphic novel of the same name by Gene Luen Yang. The series features an international all-star cast, including Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, and James Hong of the Oscar-winning film, Everything Everywhere All At Once. Also starring are Ronny Chieng, Jimmy O. Yang, Leonard Wu, and Poppy Liu. The rest of the cast features Ben Wang, Yeo Yann Yann, Chin Han, Daniel Wu, and former Taekwondo champions Jimmy Liu and Sydney Taylor. All eight episodes will premiere on May 24th, 2023. Synopsis
The series chronicles the trials and tribulations of a regular American teenager whose life is forever changed when he befriends the son of a mythological god. It is a young man’s battle for his identity, told through family, comedy, and action-packed Kung-Fu.
