Ahsoka Star Wars Series Begins Production

Rosario Dawson celebrates her birthday on the first day of production on Ahsoka.

The latest Star Wars spin-off series Ahsoka has begun production today. The popular character Ahsoka played by Rosario Dawson made her long-awaited, live-action debut in The Mandalorian. She also appeared in The Book of Boba Fett. The new series will be Ahsoka Tano’s story, written by Dave Filoni. The limited series, starring Rosario Dawson, is executive produced by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau. Ahsoka Tano is the Padawan learner of Anakin Skywalker and a Clone Wars hero. Discovered by the Jedi at an early age. She became a brave and gifted warrior through the guidance of her master. Tano believes in the Republic and bravely fights alongside clone troopers to defeat the Separatist army, wielding two lightsabers. There is no release date yet for the Disney+ series.
